You can rephrase any text in many languages on screen, be in in a text editor, CAT tool, webform, etc., using Bohemicus and ChatGPT.
Why would you want to rephrase any text?
This has 2 main usecases:
1) Improve the text: ChatGPT might improve your text by adding fluency or better vocabulary
2) Hide any use of machine translation: ChatGPT will jumble up your text in such a way that it cannot be easily checked if you have used any machine translation service. This is because MT output of services such as DeepL/Google/ModernMT is highly reproducible, making it relatively easy to verify if any machine translation has been used.
There are 2 ways how to rephrase your texts:
1) Rephrase selected text
2) Rephrase whole Trados document
Let’s take a look at both of these options.
Rephrasing selected text
Simply select your text and press Ctrl+Alt+R. You can use this option in any word processor, such as MS Word, or in any CAT tool, such as Trados. Bohemicus will rephrase your text behind the scenes using ChatGPT, and insert the result into your word processor or CAT tool.

Rephrasing whole Trados document
1.Open the Trados/CATs – XLIFF Pretranslate tab in Bohemicus

2.Drag and drop your Trados files onto Bohemicus

3.Click Rephrase

4.Bohemicus will start rephrasing your file(s)…

5.Open the resulting text in Trados to check it
