People usually try to export their files from Across to e.g. Trados, because Across is a pain to work with. The following method is far from perfect, especially because there is no direct way to re-import your files back from Trados to Across (this needs to be done via CrossTank by re-importing your memory TMX file), and also because any tags will go lost during this process, but it is better than nothing.
This is how you export your files, CrossTank and CrossTerm using Bohemicus.
Export files
1. Go to Trados/CATs, and then Across tab. Click “Check Projects“. Note that your files should be completely stored also in CrossTank so that Bohemicus can properly identify languages used in your documents.

2. A list of your projects will appear in the drop-down menu. Select your project and the corresponding file.

3. Review your file in the preview area:

4. Click “Export to Trados“, and save your file.

Export CrossTank/CrossTerm
1.Go to CrossTank/CrossTerm tab:

2.Select your source and target language. This needs to be done empirically by selecting the numerical values and observing the result. This is so because I have not been able to figure out how to interpret the numerical values to the corresponding language names.
3.Click “Update View“:

4.A preview of your CrossTank/CrossTerm should appear:

5.Review your info, and then click “Export CrossTank” or “Export CrossTerm“.
Re-import your text back to Across
The only way to re-import your text back into Across is currently through TMX (CrossTank) import.
